I got the new door panels. The drivers side looks great. The passenger door lock wiring was ugly and a guy on here sold me the harness I need to repair. Awesome. You guys are great. I did fab up some metal door pulls. And they will work good. My car is really coming along.

Drifting
I have an 85 also, would like to see some pics also. About advancing the timing I was at 12 btdc did not mean to be that far but I had a lot of power and gas mpg. I had to get a smog so I bought a timing light and set it to 6btdc. Now I get worse mpg and little bog off the start. Tomorrows project set It to 8 or 9 btdc again. Passed smog 2 weeks ago all is good.
Good luck with the 85

I finally figured out that my fuel pump was questionable. This cured a few problems. I thought the Trans was getting bad. Nope just running out off gas. I was assured that this car can't vapor lock. It sure acted like it. When I checked the pressure it was 20. I didn't think the car would run. It will just not well.

Car has been running good. A few personal problems have kept any more mods or repairs in check. I did replace the rear shocks with Bilstien . They are worth the money.
I did have an unfortunate "excursion " with the car. Ended up pulling grass out of the car . The front spindle is bent. Some of the front fiberglass is getting replaced. My pride and ego took a good guy as well. I would like to blame someone else. But it my own fault.

It's been awhile since my last post. Life and taken some turns and I must turn with it. But I did get my car fixed . And it was ok until today when some "spirited " driving, and it looks like I lost 3rd gear on the 700r4. I was hoping to make it to the end of the season before going to a 5 speed manual. it looks like time has come .
