Right! I've been lifting my 84 since new that way. It sits on jackstands between weekly races. The car has been jacked up over a thousand times that way over the past 31 years. It's now on stands placed that way getting a freshened motor in this weekend. By the way, I've lifted my C5Z, C6Z and now my C7Z this same way.

I bought the optional rolling jack.<br/><br/>I'm in heaven.
And if you don't have a high garage get one of these. Best investment I've made for my corvette.
