Default Effective Done piston volume

I'm trying to do some compression calculations, But so can't really come up with a good number for effective dome piston volume for stock 89

anyonr know?

We really need to know what you are shooting for with what info you have on hand. Need to know your cylinder head chamber volume, Cylinder bore size (stock or bored out) Stroke ( again stock or not) head gasket thickness, and Piston height from the deck height at TDC and how much dome displacement on them if they're not flat top.
Lots of measurements to deal with before you can figure compression ratio.
Basically it is (1 cylinder) cylinder volume in cc. divided by: the head chamber volume + gasket volume + deck height volume in cc.

I have all the info needed except piston volume. Can't figure out compression ratio without it. Someone surely knows what the stock piston volume in cc's is for a 1989 l98 with aluminum heads It has to be plugged into calculator to get compression ratio

Stock engine? I thought the L98 engines had recessed top pistons. My L83 has flat topped pistons.
