[Freebie] DIY dash panels for early C4's
I had these cut on a water jet from a .dwg (cad) file scanned from templates I made from my 85 dash. These are aluminum but stainless would work also.
First off, anyone that thinks this is cheezy or rice can start thier own post, I don't want to hear it
You can email the files to an architectural print shop and cut out the templates to verify fit, these are not perfect but you can tweak the files with a cad program.
I don't know how the file for manual trans will work for a 4+3, when I did my 6 speed I just cut out the divider between the auto shifter and the indicator, but as I mentioned before it can be teaked.
IM or Email me for the files, specify auto or manual
DISCLAIMER by accepting these files you agree that it is for your own use and not resale, I put a lot of time in this and am happy to share it free for forum members

Very nice, I like em, I've often thought of using formica or a simular product. The color/texture combnations to choose from would be endless. I'll send ya an e-mail about the patern templets.
thanks.

Nice work! I especially like the crash pad replacement... much nicer than the plain look. You should make another piece to surround the flat area thats recessed around the crash panel piece though.
A note of interest... the 86-89 instrument clusterbezel is a different design than on 85s... so it may require a different cutout to fit it properly.

I like the look. It is not rice, but the first thing I thought of was the movie "Back to the Future."

That looks pretty cool, with a billet shift **** and maybe some silver inserts in the seat it would all flow together.

I like it much better than wood grain or carbon fiber; I think brushed is the real deal here.
You really should consider marketing these, maybe on e-bay.

The aluminum would be too much for my taste, but the overall detail is awesome! Great idea; you def should make a set for e-bay and see how you do with it
