Default '86 Vette wheels...will they fit my brother's '79 Vette?

I've got new wheels (17")on their way...TTII's for my '86.
Wondering if my '86 stock Corvette wheels (16") will fit my brother's '79 Vette?

I've seen them on C3's - not exactly beautiful. Best way to find out is to try it.

From what I remember you will need adapters. Check Vette Brakes & Products as they used to make them.

I recall seeing an ad in their catalog for spacers to adapt 84-87 wheels to the Shark body.
Here's a pic of a Shark with C5 wagon wheels. Don't have any with C4 wheels.

The 86 wheels have more offset than the C3 wheels, you might need adapters to get them out of the fenders more.
