Default Front wheel bearing and hub

84, Z-51. Just found out 1 of my front bearing-hub assys is worn. Any way to just do the bearings and not the whole assy. Also can I get by with just replacing the worn one or should I do them both

I believe it only comes as an assembly. Easy replacement. Did mine last year and only did one didn't see the need to do both

I agree with both posts

Very easy repair

Pep Boys has the Chicago Rawhide bearinhg OEM bearings, good price and seems to be good quality

C4 bearings are sealed. You must do the whole thing.

Stay away from the cheap bearings. Napa has a nice bearing.

Did the rears on my '89 a year ago, and after much searching/asking went w/the Timkens from Autozone. Just did a search on their site and they show a Timken front hub for an '84, but no details. May be worth looking at.
