more Engine Oil Life Monitor

Will an empty batterie reset the oil life monitor, so the "change oil" light won't show up at right time?

Yes, disconnecting the battery (or a dead battery) will reset the counter.

that's why I don't get that oil light on, better get that old oil out soon...
