Moisture with Chrome Valve Covers
:confused: I went to my local Auto Zone store and was talking with the manager, who has a C-3, about chrome valve covers for my c-4. He said he would not recommend them because chrome will retain heat longer and that when they cool there is a greater chance of condensation than stock covers. Not heard this before. Has anyone heard this and if you have chrome covers have you had any problems?

He is full of excrement! :smash: The block that they are bolted to retains heat for a long time due to its mass and keeps them warm. He doesn't recommend them because he doesn't have any to sell you.
