Interior Lights , Door ajar keeps coming on
Just started, Interior Lights , Door ajar keeps coming on , when I run over a bump or slitest body twist , door switches seem to be working correctly , maybe a bad ground ?

Nah, it's gonna be the switch. As a test and a temporary fix stick one of those felt pads on the doorjamb at the contact point. I'm referring to the ones you get at the hardware to put on the feet of your furniture.

Have you tried to adjust the switch? There is a small pin inside the larger plunger. Take a small flat-head screw driver, pry it out and close the door. That should readjust it.

Yuppers. It's the door ajar switch. The little nipple on the end eventually weakens to the point it doesn't plunge properly. It can also cause you alarm to go off after the car's turned off and the door locks are set.

OMG, THANK YOU SO MUCH! My wife just gave birth to our 1st, and my alarm kept going off in the parking lot. So I just drove it home to trade out cars, and as I was driving home the interior lights would go on and off. I was worried I was looking at a big bill, but this sounds pretty easy.
Can anyone tell me where to buy one of these switches?
