What brand or kind do you guys use? DEX cool, orange Prestone?

I use the Prestone that can be used in any cooling system.

I use the Havoline Dexcool in my 02. I think that the Havoline coolant is the one that was made for GM for the cars that used Dex as the factory fill. No other brand uses the "Dexcool" name.

The Prestone orange stuff is more like a universal type long-life coolant.

The original Dexcool had issues initially which has been fixed. Any name brand will work well if you change it every 3 or 4 years. It's best to use the same color as this indicates the type of coolant.

Make sure you don't mix standard coolant (green) with a long life coolant (red,orange,blue, etc.) your result will be a mess and a pain in the a$$ to clean out the system.

FYI, my 91's require the green and I use NAPA standard concentrate and mix with water myself.
