Don't believe everything you see on some foreign inspirational wannabe web page.

2011 ZR1:
"the Vette takes a relatively leisurely 3.5 seconds to crack 60 mph and 11.5 seconds to run the quarter mile - Read more: http://www.motortrend.com

As much as I LOVE the new ZR1, it still wouldn't have beaten that Ferrari. Still, it has half the sticker price. Take you money you saved from the buying the Corvette and get yourself...well.... ANOTHER CORVETTE!!!

However, yes, the Corvette driver failed in every possible sense. He took off like a grandma at a stop sign. No RPM drop or anything. When you see the new ZR1 launched PROPERLY, you will see the nose lift even with the great suspension that it has. This video made the Corvette look as bad as when we embarrass Hondas.

Here is PROOF that the ZR1 can eat pasta at a lower price.
Oh, and BTW, the Lambo LP670-4 is no joke. It's a monster. It's also more than twice the price of the Corvette. So, not only can you buy TWO ZR1s, but you can do a little upgrade and tune to them as well.

*edit*

Just for reference

Corvette ZR1 is about 125K depending on options.

lamborghini murcielago lp670-4 sv

are you ready?

$449,000

In case you didn't get that...
FOUR HUNDRED AND FORTY NINE THOUSAND DOLLARS!!!

Hell, you can get 3 ZR1s for that price... Maybe Chevy will hook you up with a "Buy three, get one free!" deal.

Very annoying. Of course the 458 and GTR are fast cars, no arguing that, but a Chimp could have driven that ZR1 faster than that. Just keep perpetuating the WRONG stereotype that North American Cars are crap. What a load of Bull!

The Brits do that because the need to compensate for their ludicrous accents and lack of driving skills. Besides, everyone else drives on the RIGHT side of the road.

To all of our British member's, I don't mean you. I mean your sad, lonely and ****** driving countrymen....

???????? what was the point here? Logically this is manure.

Corvette has to be de-tuned to race Ferrari & GT40 & Jaguar & Volvo & Porsche & BMW & Datsun just to make it a race.

They would be racing themselves otherwise?

They will probably make GM de-tune again since they beat the competition at LeMans?

Like watching political debates.

Agree with all above! When i first watched it i was like man that vette is granny shifting and had no launch. The more i watch it the more all your comments are so true. . Retarded.

No point ^ i just go to that site to watch car vids from time to time and came across that and though you would all get a kick out of it

Pipe She's comin along! I ordered a brand new 1205 MiniRam and they're gonna mill it to match with the 1206 ports but specifically they have plates for me heads (Comp Port 210's) cost a few pretty coins But it will be right in the long run. Said it will ship out first of next week.

Thats all i need. Got a couple misc parts from Corvette central and Summit yesterday. i'll put up some pics tonight. My goal is to have it at least cranked up by the end of this month Got in touch with Mick(mseven) he's gonna be doing my tune, and there's a few tools i need to purchase so i can data log and what not

I can almost smell the exhaust
