OK, here's what I have going on. When the headlight pull switch is switched off I have all dash illumination on: Stereo, HVAC, etc... When I turn the lights on all the exterior lights function normally, but I lose the dash illumination completely. Do I have a bad switch, or do I need to dig deeper? Let me know what you guys think.

You can twist that **** to control the brightness of the dash. If that doesn't solve the problem you most likely have a bad ground. Is it only the digital display or all the lights in the dash that don't illuminate?

All of the lights. They are on at full illum. with the switch in the off position. When pulled out all illumination goes dark. No effect when adjusting the ****.

Sounds like a problem with the dimmer as mentioned above.
