Default Bulb replacement

I replaced some bulbs in the last few days in my car, and they're coming up very dim. Replaced both front turn signals, right one is incredibly dim, then I replaced my two left rear brake/turn signal light bulbs and they're way dim compared to the old ones. Anybody know why?

P.S. Tail lights are a bitch

In many instances, dim bulbs equal faulty grounds.
Check wiring, and use the 'wiggle' test to see if there
is improvement.

Pulled all the bulbs back loose, cleaned them out, made sure they were making contact on all points, and put them back in. Seems to have done the trick, and everything looks secure, other than the fact that I lost one of the screws to the inner lamp Gonna have to find a replacement to that.

Also, as silly as it may sound, I discovered that the bulbs can go in two different ways, and one way I think was making contact but only barely, resulting in dimming, while the other way properly snaps it into place. At first I assumed it was an either/or thing!

Does this mean you figured out the dimming problem?
Or you finally figured out how to install a light bulb properly?

Watch out for oil changes! Righty tighty, lefty loosey.......

Lol. Well, the worst part is, it fit in both ways. It was just incredibly dim when in the wrong way Oops!
