secondary fan with A/C on?
Hi
I´m wondering if when I turn on the AC, the secondary fan, like the primary, MUST turn on.
It is a 93 with electronic AC which works very well, either cold or warm.
As the car doesn´t has temperature issues, the secodary fan never turns on, but I know the electric motor works because i forced a trouble code disconnecting the MAF sensor and saw the two fans working together.
If the fan must turn on with the AC, where can i look to find the problem?
thanks in advance

I took a look in the 93 service manual and it tells the secondary fan is controlled by the ECM and is activated when. the following occur
A/C sends high pressure signal
when any ECM diagnostic code is set
ECT above 234deg F
engine oil temp. 235deg F
this is a revision post

stand by one second I have a revision on previous temps and stuff temps are out updating now
Secondary fan will run when
ECM has trouble codes (DTCs)14,15,52, or 62 (DTC= diagnostic trouble code)
ECT above 234deg. F
Engine above 235deg F
A/C high pressure switch signal from A/C fan switch
the earlier numbers bugged me and rite now I don't see were they came from, these numbers are post lunch not pre breakfast

so, for what i understood, if everything works as it should, the secondary fan should not turn on by simply connecting A/C?
