Gas response issues
I just put new intake gaskets on my 1986 vette and now when you try to quickly hit the gas is seems to take a little time for the rpm to settle back to an idle. Any suggestions?

yep.
go back with some water in a spray bottle and wet everything and look for where its being sucked in.
Vac fittings UNDER the TB.
all along the runners gasket. Plenum gaskets.
all around the intake itself.
probably just a runner gasket. easy to fix, common. Dirty metal surfaces do it everytime.

Just went back and looked at the photos I took before I started and low and behold I found the connection for the hose. It goes onto the pipe that PVC also connects to. Could this be my issue?
