Default 87 Cooling Fan Relay

Where is the engine cooling fan relay on a 87? I ordered the FSM... on its way.

Thanks. Now were on the same page. My relay has been removed and bypassed. Dumb question: why do people feel the need to remove this part?

Because they think their cars are running too hot. We see this over and over on here from new owners. 230° is normal on a hot day with the AC on. You should get concerned if it goes over 250°.

Thanks. I really don't like to monitor this with a switch sticking out of the dash. It looks hokey. I guess this is the first thing I will repair on my "new" car.
