I am sorry if this is something thats been beat to death on here. I made my account just to get some information for a friend. He owns a 1995 C4 that is in very nice condition with about 115k miles. He does not drive the car everyday but usually drives it at least once a week. One day the car would not start. I am somewhat of a mechanic and car enthusiast so I took a look at it. I had a fuel pressure gauge and the car makes 40lbs with the ignition on. When the car cranks over it will hold the 40lbs of pressure. I pulled a spark plug out and cranked it and it is getting spark. So it is getting gas to the rails and it has spark - what the hell else could be wrong?

I am not too familiar with fuel injection or Corvettes. I typically mess with carburetors and older Chevys. Any help would be very much appreciated.

How do I check the VATS function? I noticed yesterday the security light comes on when I had the door opened but I figured that was normal.

If it's the VATS, the car won't crank.

Then what else could be the problem? Neutral safety switch? I honestly do not even know where to start.

What will the injectors ohm out at? And how exactly do I test them? I have a multimeter but I have never used the ohm function.
