Will a bad wheel bearing cause uneven tire wear?
I'm buying new tires and I just noticed that my passenger side rear tire wore out the inside of the tread while the outside tread still looks ok. All the other tires seemed to wear evenly. I am also still diagnosing whether or not I have a bad wheel bearing and was wondering if this could be the cause or if it is just an alignment issue.

But it could be aligment issue too. So, lift the corner up and check if there is excessive play in the bearing - don't just go and buy new bearings. You could just be wasting your money.

When you install the new tires have it aligned. Bearing would have to be so bad that it would cause severe vibration to wear the tire. Maybe time to replace the bushings.

Sounds like a 4 wheel alignment is in order.
The bearing would have to be close to falling apart to get that much uneveness :smash:
