92 LT-1 code 32 EGR?
Anybody go through the matrix for checking the EGR system? I'm about half way and looking to the end it says to replace the EGR valve or the solenoid. It seems easier just to replace both and be done with it :mad Has anyone had to replace their EGR valve and solenoid?

Hi Tom,
I replaced both as mine threw a 32 about 6 months after the header install. It seemed to fix the problem as 32 hasn't returned since the new parts. Knock on wood here. :D

Well Steve if you didn't set a 32 on your trip, it's working just fine. Did you check your passageways where the EGR valve connects to the manifold?

Yes, as I recall I did. It's a little tight back there as you know. I ran a shop cloth into both openings and came up with very little residue. I think the installation of the headers causes less back pressure. As a result the ECM codes out. Most guys just live with it as it sometimes returns after repairs. As I said, once I installed the new parts, it hasen't coded again.
