someone posted a new stuff they found, but requires a compressor to spray on.
I cannot remember what it was called, cause I was interested in it, too.
I have had some success with "Plasti-dip". Spray on or in a can - for brush or dipping.
Plasti-Dip is available at Lowes.

I used the spray can Plasti-Dip. It's a shade blacker than stock.
I'm not real pleased with the longevity. It's been in about 6 mos and it's starting to peal.
Maybe if I did a better prep-job before I painted it and used more than 3 coats it would be better. I just stripped the old stuff, washed it, and did a light steel wool rub.
It looked OK when it was fresh.
I think there's a TECH TIP for this job.
