Default Anybody installed a battery cut-off switch?

I'm trying to find the best way to incorporate a battery cut-off switch. I have seen many of the types that mount on a post type battery, but only one for side terminals. It was from Eastwood but I didn't like the looks of it too much. Another popular style seems to be the kind that takes a key to turn on and off.

Any suggestions? Have you guys used any of these? Installation suggestions?

I want to be able to disable the battery when the car is not in use for long periods of time without removing the battery cable each time.

Thanks in Advance

I picked up two of them at Carlisle, last year. They were like, 2 for $5.00. I was pumped.

But I have yet to put them on either of the Vettes.

Find a wrecked ambulance. Most have battery cutoff switches or do a search for ambulance parts. A few Ambulance manufacturers, Taylor Made, McCroy Miller, First Response. Also, check with emergency equipment manufacturers, Wheelen, Federal Signal Corp.

Probably not exactly what you're looking for but Jegs sells this type.

Painless wiring has kit that has a relay, about 50.$ Its not NHRA legal tho. but looks to be pretty nice for cars that arn't driven a lot.

I have the round **** that turns, side post mount. I don't know what the eastwood version looks like, but the one I have is sold by MAM & Eckler's, and probably some other places too. Just gotta make sure it is tight now & then - the road rattles mine loose sometimes.
