Default Looking for 1991 ZR1 Vin information

I'm trying to find information on a 1991 ZR-1 with a vin # 1G1YY2386M5108505
Just trying to sort fact from fiction.
Any help I can get would be greatly appreciated.

The VIN is NOT a ZR-1 and I explained on the "other forum".

For a C4 ZR-1 the 5th needs to be a Z, the 8th a J and the 12th an 8 for ALL YEARS.

This VIN a '91 coupe, L98, M6, Z07, DRM/cognac likely.

Default On a roll now...

It's no wonder the info I was getting wasn't making sense.
Thanks much for clearing it up for me. Following up with what you said, I came across another site with a picture of the car in question.
http://www.usedcarsfsbo.com/asp/Item...CSZjj8.twitter

Is there any way that someone could run a carfax on it? Asking a lot I know, but I'm a Newbie to all this and really would like to know more about it.

Default Integrity?? Really?!

Wow. If you are "spokeperson" for "this small group", I can see why it's a small group. Can you be any less friendly?
Silly me thought that this site was here to share information about corvettes with other people who enjoy corvettes. Apparently not.
FYI, I already own this car, so buying it out from under me was never an issue, as you put.
As far as where the car is located, I fail to see how that matters one way or the other as to trying to find out more about the car from someone who may have previously owned it, or would be able to run a carfax check on it for me.
The answer is ND by the way, and speaking for the "small group" of people in and around this area, "GET OVER YOURSELF!" Perhaps you should take a look at yourself before you start throwing out names (Troll) and being rude to someone new to this site, who obviously wouldn't have yet had time established a "post history". Thank you very much.
To others who may be reading this, I apologize. I am just responding to what felt like an attack on my character and seemed to question my real interest in this perticular car and other corvettes.
I have since my first post, found out the car is NOT a ZR-1. I learned about decoding the VIN, and I found out there are people willing to help others learn more about corvettes.
All without the help of "glass slipper". Go figure huh?

If your next post doesn't include your location and the location of the car, we'll know you're a troll...your post history isn't a good indicator.

We'll wait for the info above...

FWIW I agree w/ glass slipper, too many trolls have passed through here to be a Pollyanna. Real enthusiasts will stick it out til proven. Good Fortune to you with your automobile.

Default Well wishes are nice

Thank you.
Guess I have yet to figure out what ulterior motives "a troll" would have to spend time writing to a forum asking for help.
I was able to get a copy to a link showing the car prior to my getting it, should anyone be interested...
