Default Is this a good deal?? 1993 ruby for $5,300?

A guy I know pretty well has been dealing with corvettes and corvette parts for years. He purchased a 1993 at auction intentions of fixing it and selling it but just sold it to me for what he paid for it. It was damaged in the front so it needs a front bumper assembly two head lights an air bag and a radio. THE CAR HAS BEEN FIXED it just needs this stuff bolted on pretty much. The metal and radiator are all good everything is clean as hell. I THINK IT DOES have the salvage title but I am not 100 percent sure. One note he is selling me the parts at auction cost to, he got the head lights for 150 each, the airbag for 150, and he is looking for the front bumper with all parts now. So I will get that stuff for cheap as well. The car has either 80-90k its a six speed with the tunable suspension on it. Very nice looking other than the missing parts. What do u guys think

I doubt if you'll get lots of opinions, but it's worth what you'll have into it. Maybe. Depends on the title.

One thing for sure, you'll get more than your money's worth of fun out of it.

Ya i think thats it a good deal also, esp since the guy is allowing me to make payments on the vette until i come up with the full money. But I figure about 6500 into it all together and its a VERY GOOD YEAR vette and NO ONE WILL know what the deal with it was before i got it. I am going to do some MINOR mods to the engine, get the rims CHROMED, and put some NICE sounding pipes on it and a cam. At that point it will be a very nice vette and a good year. What you guys think??

I wouldn't worry so much about what everybody thinks. Do you like it?? Thats all that matters. Congrats on the new ride. Sold my vette 7 or 8 months ago and now I looking..

Got any pics, and the salvage title could come into play if you decide to resale...

I'd go for it. As a matter of fact, if you decide not to you should hook me up with the guy!
