Absolutely beautiful, a perfect example of an LT4! And Z51 to boot. Big fan of low-mile Z51 LT4s.. The father/son memories are a big part of what makes this hobby special for me - I completely relate to times you are sharing with your son (only, I was the son in the equation, now making new memories with my 5yr old daughter!). I am sure you and he will forever cherish the memories! Good luck with whatever comes next!

Thank you, me too! I'm actually re-thinking selling it now, I really love the car and it always puts a huge smile on my face when I open the garage to take my son out.

Absolutely beautiful car! I do believe yours is the nicest and most preserved examples I've ever seen. If you told me those pictures were from 1996 when it was new, I'd believe it. Definitely a true definition of the words "time capsule"!

I think I'd have some second thoughts about selling it as well. It puts a smile on MY face just from looking at your pictures. Lol! Your son looks happy and has a big smile just standing next to the car. His smile probably goes full ear to ear when you both are out for a drive!

I'm new to corvettes so don't beat me for asking. I though that the "Z-51 Performance Handling Package" came with a switch on the center console in between the seat adjustment?

What you are referencing is called "selective ride control"

The Z51 Handling Package for 96 Corvette coupes include Bilstein shocks, unique front and rear springs, bushings and stabilizers, and 9.5 inch-wide, 17 inch wheels with P275/40ZR17 tires. The Z51 option was ideal for drivers who were purchasing Corvettes to race in autocross event.

The Z51 option let's owners use 4 matched tires versus the staggered setup of all other 1992 - 1996 Corvettes. An owner can rotate the tires for longer wear also. To the best of my knowledge, only "Nitto" makes matched tire sizes for 1993 - 1996 Corvettes.
