MTI Racing's LS1/LS6 TVS system now available!
The design phase of MTI Racing's LS1/LS6 TVS system is now complete and available for C5's. The first LS1 with a TVS is assembled and ready to go on the engine dyno. I'll have numbers very soon, probably by the beginning of next week.
We're now taking appointments for in-house installation. This system is also available for over the counter sale.

When I saw the video of Duttweiler's engine with the TVS, I called and spoke with Duttweiler and decided to build my motor for one. I called Magnuson and they told me "soon" but no date. I'm glad I didn't try to wait. That was a year ago. It sure is nice!! Are you selling cash and carry kits or installed only at this time? I suppose you're recommending the 1900 for the 346 and possibly the 2300 for 402's and higher displacements? If you want a test monkey, I'll forward my address and pay for shipping!

We recommend the 1900 over the 2300 for all LS1 and LS6 applications. We use the TVS 1900 on the LS2 and LS3, as well as the 427ci LS7 with great results (see dyno graphs below). As Jerry Magnuson, who has been building superchargers for 40 years, states and tests have proven “Run the smallest supercharger that will provide your target boost level. It will be more responsive (make boost sooner) and will require less horsepower to drive.”
The TVS produces a massive amount of low rpm torque. Here are some examples of the power produced by our TVS system on the LS2, LS3, and LS7. All with 7.5lbs of boost.
2008 LS3 C6 vs stock. -additional upgrades: long tube headers, cai.
2006 LS7 Z06
2006 LS2 C6 vs stock. -additional upgrades: CNC'd LS3 heads, TVS camshaft, long tube headers, cai

We developed our TVS system to produce 7.5psi so that it would be safe to use on stock short blocks. For you boost junkies who've got built engines with forged internals, overdrive crankshaft dampers or smaller supercharger pulleys are available to raise boost to the level your engine can handle. With the amount of low rpm torque the TVS produces, no matter what amount of boost you run, traction will definitely be an issue.

To ask a pointed question, what does your kit include that warrants $12k to 13k more than a R2300 kit (for C5s) from another vendor?
I'm looking at a PD blower for my car down the road and would love to find a viable R1900 kit option
