Last build I saw like this was by far the most horrible build story I've ever read. I hope you have 10 times better luck than the last guy.

If you have the time, I recommend hard anodizing the pistons. It makes them bullet proof!
The Wilson manifold looks wicked, but unless you're doing it to have a baller look and don't care about spending the money, there's absolutely no need for it. It won't help your power one lick.
Not sure what your power goals are, but the I-beam Ultra billet rods are significantly stronger.

Is this build almost done, or are you still buying parts/getting started. Are you trying to go fast? An RHS block and sts dont go together, lsxr heads and patriot springs? C5R timming chain? I hope its not to late to make some changes. Is a shop doing this for you?

No need to buy an after market block for an sts kit or one that is lightly modded, if you spend the money for a rhs block I would spend more on a timming chain. Lxr heads probably come with better springs....

my forged 346 car with STS couldn't run a number on the dyno and absolutely on the track....after I switched to a paxton I couldn't keep a happy driveline behind it.

I would seriously, seriously rethink plans of STS and big power, it WILL NOT happen.

I sold mine off over 4 years ago, we tried bigger turbos, ceramic coatings, heat wrapping, removing cats etc. you name it, we just couldn't make a design with 20 ft of charge pipes spool like a front mount or a centrifugal.

As a result I went paxton..

PS let me know if you want a deal on a paxton setup, I just pulled that from this car to sell it stock, going back NA 427 C5R with a bottle for when I want to be stupid
