Default Pro charged A4 1/4 times

I have a STOCK 98 with a d1 on 8lbs making 480rwhp.
315 gear. Any idea what kinda times it will run?
What mod should be first and mods will be most effective?
Thanks for any help!

Will the stock trans hold up to a stall?
At what hp do I start thinking about a diff and trans?
I have a 3.73 diff and a 3.42. Use one of these or leave the 3.15?

Those tires should hook well with 500rw mine did at this level. Just put the tires on for now and see how it does . 342: will do better but not a whole lot like .3 you can run a small stall too . Drag race it and have fun.

Buddy went 1.6 60' and 11.4 on a 275/40r18 street with stock stall and NA 383 in +DA, you should go low 11s with current set-up in decent air.

3.15 to 3.73 gear swap should pick up atleast .2

Switching to a 275/40r17 Hoosier should pick up the same if not more, .1 from the better effective gearing being they're 2.5" shorter, which is the same as if you went to 3.42 gears and the rest from less rolling resistance/weight.

Doing both should put you in the 10s and would allow 127mph@6200rpm, hope that helps.

It is crazy to think that stock a4 with everything factory stock can go 10s by adding a pro charger!

If you think about it, adding 200rwhp to a car that runs low 13s on street tires from the factory, isn't that far fetched

Mid 11s will be fine. I have never dragraced a vette but I have been 11.30s in a 99 ss at 3600lbs with 380 rwhp. We will see I guess.

A correctly setup heads/cam/exhaust/properly tuned(430rwhp) and stalled C5 Auto Vette will run 10.90s@123 mph at 3400lbs in decent air. That's a well proven fact..

A stock C5 with a stall will run 12.70s, at 300rwhp. Add 200hp on to that and don't think it will run 10.80s? C'mon now.

Stick cars are a totally different ball game. Most stick cars are Dyno queens that you can not efficiently get down the track and actually show the power they dyno on a drag strip.

Pre-z06 is one of the few examples that runs well with a stick and his ET/mph actually match his dyno HP..

Btw, my 71' in my sig runs 10.70s@125 @3680lbs, consistently, in full street trim and dynos 460 rwhp.. (Unlocked converter). Been a best of 10.59@128 on skinnies and -500' air. 3610lbs

My buddy has a 2012 GS coupe, ls3. Cam only, exhaust, tune, stalled and drag radials, dynoed 490 rwhp locked and ran 11.00@127 last weekend.. With only a 1.65 60'. Weighed 3505lbs with driver...No doubt it has 10s in it with some more track time and better tires.

Its not hard to get into the 10s. I got my F body 10.9 N/A 3450-3500 raceweight 429rwhp.

OP with 480rwhp I would expect to see mid 10s. You need a stall no doubt. That's what gets an auto moving.
