Pulley question
Question for super charger gurus. I bought a 97 vette with a RMCR supercharger kit. Had less the 10k miles on set up. Had a elec. boost gauge showed I was making 8psi. On a dyno to check tune. It only made 365RWHP. We checked with mech gauge and found only making 1-2 psi at high rpm. After checking everything I could. I bought a used T-type and swapper chargers. Now. On test drive today. On a 3rd gear pull. I made 4psi and I shut down at 4600rpm. As far as pulleys. Stock crank pulley. Which is 7.5". Which feeds a jack shaft. With a 3" pulley. Othe side of shaft had same 3" pulley. Feeds supercharger. That had a 3.125 pulley. Does this sounds right? The guy I bought the T-Type from said on his A&A set up with 3" pully was making 15psi

Have you checked for boost leaks? I have never heard of that supercharger kit, so I don't know how they would run their piping. Make sure to check every joint.

Who did the tuning?
I don't think that's your main problem though.
4psi seems really low
Have they pressure tested everything for boost leaks? That would be the obvious place to start
What was their explanation for the original SC not making any boost?

I have got ZERO help from rocky mountin. This was their kit they made. Only thing they told me to do was buy a A&A kit. And they would sell me one. Then said they would call me back by next day. And have never heard from them again. And I have called back 5 times now

Post some pics of the setup so it can be Id'd. If it's an A&A kit sold to you by an installer, Andy will have advice for you. If it's some fabricated setup then you might be SOL. (Simply outta Luck). Post some pics!!

As I stated. It's a rocky mountin kit. Not a A&A. After my post this morning. I got a phone call from RMCR. And they told me it was their early. They ditched. And now just sell A&A's kit. And told me to scrap what I got and buy a new kit. Ouch!!!

Wow, I've never seen anything like that
A&A makes a nice kit. I can see why they just started selling them instead.
