Which cam in A4 C5 super charger???
Happy Thanksgiving to all
I would like some feedback from anyone who has a C5 super charged with a 4l60 transmission.
The 2 cams in question are the Lingenfelter GT 2-3 (.207/.220; .571/.578; 118.5*) and
Andy"s A&A stage 1 (.220/.228; .581/.588; 116*).
I am NOT looking for maximum HP, I am wanting longevity and minimum wear and tear on the valvetrain. I do plan on up-grading springs and trunion rocker arms.
Would increasing the LSA(say up to 121*) increase smoothness of idle?
I am NOT a gearhead and I thought about asking Lingenfelter or A&A directly, but I would like to hear from some people here on the forum!!
Thanks in advance,Rick

We typically sell and install our Stg 1.5 which is 220/230 116 LSA and has -7* overlap, so it's got a little idle lope over stock cam, but still great drivability, can be used with stock converter, and makes great power with boost.
That LPE cam will have -23.5* overlap and purr like a kitten, and make good power with boost too.
They will both be good choice for you.
