Default Battery issues

The skinny...

About a week, my car wouldn't start; I was given a jump start. The next day, the car started without a problem, oddly. I still took the battery off and had it checked at Pep Boys. They said it was good and only needed a recharge, so I did that. I changed the metal bolt on the positive (red) since it was corroded as well. Well...it worked fine until today. After leaving the car without starting for one day, the car wouldn't start again. I moved the red cable a "boom" it started. Turned it off and it would'nt start again.

I think the red cable might have suffered from the corroded bolt since the battery seems to be OK.

Has anybody experienced something similar? All input is appreciated.

Sounds like a stock AC Delco to me.

Time for an Optima Red Top!

Perhaps the connector where the positive cable bolt goes in is loose and is only working intermittently. If this is the case, you may need a new battery.
