Don't do it. Those digital HVAC unit displays are notorious for burning out and going dim.

I have never seen it done. There is more involved than just the head unit.

I inquired about this a few months ago and was told to NOT DO IT. Many members here with the digital system actually wish they had the manual system... I thought the digital system was more refined but there are many more problems and things to break. Plus you would need to redo all of the ducting i believe.

so........don't do it.

Wish I could give you the technical explanation but guys smarter than me have said that its way more complicated than just fitting the control panel.

I like the HVAC but I wouldn't spend Mega $ on it.

There is a programmable controller on the airbox that the head unit talks to. This means at a minimumu you would have to do the head unit and the controller (which is several hundred on it own) PLUS you getting the extra bonus of dismanteling the dash to try to install it. Since you can access the HVAC thru the OBD portm I think the Body Control or ECM is also involved is some of the festivities. Not worth it for the percieved gain in my book, but your "mileage may vary"
