P1545 P1546 P1571 codes - anyone fix?
A/C is not working and I pulled the following codes:
P1545 HC A/C Clutch Relay Control Circuit
P1546 HC A/C Clutch Status Circuit Low Voltage
P1571 H ASR Desired Torque
Did a search for the codes and turned up nothing (except lists of codes, no fixes). Still looking but if anyone has had these I'd appreciate some help. Thanks!

I cant find P1545
P1546: When you select AC, the PCM looks for a voltage from the AC compressor clutch. If it doesn't see it it sets the code. The diagnostics check voltages on the circuit, check the connections at the AC compressor relay and at the PCM and if they are good, replace the AC compressor clutch relay. That is probably more than I'd tackle as an amateur.
P1571: The EBCM sends a torque signal to the PCM. If the PCM senses too much torque it backs off the power by retarding the timing or turning off fuel injectors. The code is set when the PCM doesnt see the torque signal or if the value is incorrect. Again the diagnostics involve testing voltages and eventually replacing the PCM
Interesting that both are PCM issues. First thing to check is the grounds for the PCM (G106), AC compressor clutch (G102) and the EBCM (G103 and G108). Long shot but you haven't had a battery leak by any chance?

No battery leak that I know of.
Is there any chance this has to do with a tune (efi live) that was done on the car yesterday? Could if be the wrong setting got changed?

Dont know enough about tuning to give you a steer. It'd be worth checking with them. Don't know if there are any paraeters that are selectable in EFI that affect the AC.
Where did they plug into the system? Could they have disturbed connectors either at the PCM or the AC ends?

Plugged in under the steering wheel. I did call the tuner last night after I noticed the problem and he said he didn't touch anything that could cause this.
Probably just coincidence.
Is there anything I (amateur) can check or do to try to fix this??

I'm afraid I'm no tech. Just dug into the manuals for the decodes. It's just strange that two uncoencted faults seem to have surfaced immediately after a tune. maybe Bil Curlee can cast some light. He's the Forum electrical guru.

Burning Brakes
I'd try the easy things first. Clean and inspect the connector at the compressor, check the fuse # 24 under the hood(A/C clutch relay), and relay #34 under the hood(A/C clutch).

Will update when I get back from the hardware store.

Its fuse #24 (10). Put in a new 10amp and it blew it as soon as I turned on the climate control. Same thing with a 15amp.
Not sure how to check fuse #34. Its a big gray box. Pulled it but not sure what to look for.
Thanks to all that have helped here. I'm going to start another thread for blowing the fuse, to see if anyone else has had this issue.
