Default 2001 Corvette service manual

Is the GM 2001 Corvette service manual 3 volumes the best source for service information? Is it available on CD?

Order them from GM Parts House!

How do I order a Helms service manual?

We've made it pretty simple to order a Helms service manual. On the front page at www.gmpartshouse.com, click where it says search by GM part number. On the next page starting in box #1 type in part number helmsmanuals, select Chevrolet make and click on get parts. Add it to your cart on the next screen. Our checkout is numbered in steps from 1 through 4. In step 2 of 4 you'll find a comments section right under the verify order button along with any checkout terms and conditions. In the comments section enter the year, make and model of your vehicle. That's pretty much it. We don't stock service manuals so it takes us 4-5 business days to receive them and then we can ship them out to you.

IMO, the factory service manuals are the best ones to buy.

Default Both , paper manual and CD

I have both , as the best convenience . But I do use my paper manuals more often. A must have. I'm now looking for them on CD.

It should be noted that I bought a set of the manuals on DVD from 427frc. What I got was merely a burned copy of the DVD and not the actual Helms DVD itself.

So beware.

Apparently 427frc is no longer accepting private messages anymore. Wonder why?

This was the Private Message I tried to send to him but he won't accept. Maybe he can read it on here and respond:

FYI - I received the package yesterday. I was kind of surprised about what I got.

Just a burned copy of the DVD? Its not the original. That's kind of shady as there was no mention of this merely being a copy. That's like selling someone a movie and just handing them a pirated copy. Its not the same thing and has no resale value.

And the WCC rear lowering kit is missing the bushings that are included in the package (see link)

http://www.westcoastcorvette.com/p-3...-bolt-kit.aspx

Next time I'll request pictures as this was not what I was expecting and I feel these items were misrepresented.

Also, where is your thread that had this stuff for sale. It seems to have been removed for some reason?
