Default C6 Shifter

I am wanting to upgrade my C5z shifter to a C6z shifter. I found a two threads with part #'s but they are not coming up as correct at gmpartwarehouse. Can anyone provide me with the part #'s or a link to purchase what I need? Thanks!

There is no longer two different shifters for the C6 Zo6 and standard, they switched to a single shifter in 08 and that is P/N 25823572 (which is the number for the standard..

Be aware that the new shifter has a plastic twist-lock ring to attach the boot to the shifter.

Or you can use a zip tie.

Another option to the zip tie is to pull the leather up, place a small rubber band over it, fold the leather over the band and hot glue it. Once dry just pull that part up over the shifter handle.
