I bought all my stereo stuff from Dennis @ DDMods, He is very smart when it comes to C5 Corvettes, He also has great service, He is always around if you have questions. His price was about as good as it gets.

I replaced my stock stero last summer with this one from Dennis from DD mods. I added a amp and sub and kept my stock speakers. Dennis provided the interface and it all came pre wired. He is a great guy to work with. I got the mounting plate from Mark at Humount.

As many have stated talk to Dennis. I just purchased a complete setup from him installed right after x-mas, I did a complete gut of the interior, insulated the whole car, new components in doors (arc audio 6.2), which I had never heard of before, which are fricking amazing I must say thx to Dennis, 5 1/4" in rear and a stealth box with 12" sub, pioneer head unit. I am very pleased with this setup and the customer service from DD mods speaks for itself on this forum. Being that I still enjoy all types of music, from country to rap, this along with the insulating of car has got to be one of the best mods I have ever done. The difference in the car is unbelievable. If I had any advice for you it would be first to give Dennis a try to work a setup out for you, and if you enjoy music and like good clear sound do not skimp on your setup. Granted I didn't get the best setup possible but night and day difference from bose I must say. Good Luck.

Get in touch with Dennis at Double D Mods (he's already posted in your thread). Great service, great prices and products that work.

Dennis helped with my set up, I invested in a cheap single din set up Pioneer DEH9400 with all the bells and whistles, Bluetooth, pandora, iPod etc, and a great set of Focal 165KR Components, Polk Subs in Stealth Box and a sweet 5-Channel Amp to drive it all
Couldn't be happier and sounds amazing!!
Good luck with whatever you do, it will be 10x better than stock or Blose!

Alpine HU KTP 445 Alpine power pack, 6.5 alpines in front and back. That's quality, practicality and it doesn't break the bank.
If you want a more elaborate setup you need to get a sub and amp and forget the KTP445 and go with component speakers although some 2 ways can be just as good.
I did listen to some pioneers recently and they were good enough but I went with Alpine 6.5 for my sons car as that's what he wanted, and they do sound good. Just hooked them up the other day in his honda.
Eclipse is my HU of choice but they can get pricey.
