Default 2000 F45 to F55 Shock Replacement

I have been told I can put F55-magnetic ride control shocks- in my 2000 F45 equipped car because the F45 wiring harnesses are compatible with the F55 shocks. The only difference I am told is I will have two selections instead of three. Is this true? Thanks, Mike

It has been done but at a substantial cost and with a bit of work to do the conversion. I had a forum member send me the info on how he did his conversion but it cost a pretty penny and was a significant amount of work.

Recommend C6Z06 shocks and tune out the adaptive suspension!

OK, from one that made the swap to the F55 (on my '99).

I purchased the F55 system from a Forum vendor.

It took all of 2 hours to change out.

It was NOT difficult.

It did make a SUBSTANTIAL difference in ride 'feel'.

Years ago I posted on this Forum the process.

Do a search - I am too lazy.

This thread started to be question and your quickly turning it into a sarcastic malicious number of posts. Maybe you should try smoking some of your own stuff and chill out. Your initial answer turned out to be wrong and I guess it must be bothering you.
