Hushmat Ultra sound dampening material
Has anyone here installed Hushmat Ultra on the cargo floorboard area to help quiet their interior? It seems to be a less expensive alternate to Dynamat. I'm looking into quieting my interior a bit due to the Borla Stingers. It comes in 12"x12" and 12"x23" self-adhesive pads depending on which install kit you buy.

Burning Brakes
I haven't used Hushmat, but I bought a roll of Fatmat Rattletrap Extreme for my car, and it made a HUGE difference. I bought it from Amazon, and it was pretty cheap.

I use second skin audio.
Remember there are 2 types of noise reducers:
- Mass dampeners (these adhere to body panels and reduce noise caused by their vibration)
- Acoustic Barriers (these are often acoustic foam that reduces noise from outside the vehicle)

I have used a product I bought at Home Depot used for roofing similar construction as sound dampeners, has an asphalt layer and a foil surface, basically lowers the resonance point of the panel so vibrations are damped. Costs a fraction of these products and performance is very similar.
