I have stock 2008 split spoke rear wheels that I want to use in the rear of my stock C5 Z with factory rear brake ducts.

What size spacer will provide clearance for the brake duct ?

Any thgts on picking up some 1/8" washers to measure out what size is needed ?

My gut tells my 1/4" should meet my needs and allow me to use stock length studs.

The washers idea sounds like a decent plan to me. Since you have both the C6 and C5Z06 wheels in your possession, can't you take some measurements to compare the offsets?

Was hoping someone here has done this before and could confirm that a 1/4" spacer will work with current studs.

I attempted to mount up a rear C6 Wheel before and it slightly rubbed on the rear brake duct.

I will confirm and report back to the community.
