Default here my new ride, fist time owner here

Just bought it. Has all the bells and whistles. Its a 6 speed, has a Corsa exhaust, an aftermarket throttle body and came with a hyper tech programmer. Still trying to figure out how everything works.

Fobs were not in use, am going to try to get them going.

Cruise control doesn't seem to operate.

Bought with 47k miles.

Runs really strong and everything is nice and tight.

Lots of odd noises I'm not used to.

Got an exhaust rattle at 2100 rpm, hope that's all that is.

Ebrake doesn't hold that well I suppose it needs brakes?

Congrats. The e-brake could just need some adjustment - the C5 is known for the e-brake having to be adjusted every now and then.

Welcome to the forum. Rest assured that your questions to any problems you encounter will be answered by the many knowledgable people here. When I got mine last year I never thought I could do half of the do it yourself fixes I have done but so many here make it easy. Step by step instructions with pictures for almost anything C5 related. Great people and great forum! Oh, and beautiful car!!

Looks like mine, U will enjoy the forum. My ebrakes needed adjusting as well, not a hard DIY, the ebrakes aren't the best design in my opinion. There are a lot of info with pictures on how to do this. Love the backdrop for the vette pic.

Great photo and wonderful ride - - congrats.

Get the parking brake adjusted-- should be uncomplicated.

While the car's in the air, check the heat shields around the cats and the tunnel - - that could be the source of the rattle.

Enjoy !

Congrats and welcome!

Fob probably just needs new batteries then reprogram (easily done - in owners manual)

E-brake probably just needs adjusting

Does your steering column lock when you have the key out? If yes you need an LMC5 (on mine) or a CLB.
