New information on the bad judg at the car show
One of the reps from the car show called me this morning and said there was a mistake in the judge that my car and one other that looked really good was judged in the c6 class.my car was a c5 and clearly said it on the paper on my dash.We were park in the c6 space because no room left in the c5 .even my 11 year old knows the different.but I'm glad they called to make it right.I knew no way the other guys car and mine could not have placed if it was judge correct.there was to much time spent on my car and his look nice to just only his had way to much bling but still look good.

Let's see I clay bared it re waxed, pulled wheels off and clean behind them.every thing in the engine dep.if it had dust on it it got cleaned.pulled tail light out an cleaned behind them so because you can never get that area clean.just every thing.my car is not in a garage so it has to be regular clean from the wind blowing dust and grit around.it is under a cover car shed that's all.and I do work seven days a week so only a few hours a day to clean.

Nice of them to call and explain what happened, but did they do anything about the awards too?

How good could the judging be if the judges cannot even tell the difference between a C5 and a C6???

I used to judge early C3's. We had to know the options list for each year including 1969 that had mid year changes.

I took my C4 to a show once, I left it parked in the lot. After talking to a guy with a C2, I pulled it in, wiped it down and enjoyed the rest of the show with my car on the grass. I didn't win anything, nor was I trying. But having my car there got me invited to the Rose City Corvette Classic and that was even funnier.
Judges do one thing, good or bad. They pass judgement on the thing they are asked to judge. You can't get mad at the fact someone judged you to your disliking because judging is perception.
He perceived your C5 as a C6.

Can you name every make and model, and know them by generation?
Get over it. It's just a car show. Be happy you can walk and go to the bathroom by yourself and quit complaining. Things could be worse.
