New exhaust tip plan
OK, my 04 convertible had an SLP Loudmouth system on it when I bought it.
Hated the sound, loved the way the exhaust tips filled the rear exhaust opening area.
So, my new plan is to duplicate that look with the factory exhaust system / mufflers / tailpipes.
I got a set of four stainless steel double wall exhaust tips. 2 1/2 inch inlet, 4 inch outlet, 5 inches long.
The factory mufflers each have a pair of 1 3/4 inch pipes coming out of the muffler, and ending with the chrome oval tips that are spot welded to the tail pipes.
I can use the outside tail pipes (the ones closest to each side of the car) in the location that they currently are sitting.
The two inner tail pipes will need to be extended / angled / relocated so that all four tips are evenly spread across the exhaust opening.
The attached photos sort of show the idea of what I am talking about.
Going to go see my favorite exhaust magician and let him work his magic.
It seems like the outer tail pipes will just need the oval chrome tip removed, and a 2 1/2 inch to 1 3/4 inch adapter added.
The inner tail pipes will need a bit more work.
Hopefully this will work out without too much hassle.

Those should look very good and best of luck getting the pipes in the right location.
If you don't mind, could you PM me where you got the polished tips at - haven't seen any vendor selling just the tips that look like that. Thanks.
