Success with OEWheels?
Looking forward to buying some new tires. New tires, of course, aren't widely available. I thought about 18 in wheels all around, and found OE Wheel company. They make a replica Z06 wheel, available black or chrome, for a bargain basement price. The price is at the root of some fears that I have about these wheels?
Has anyone here on the forum used these? What kind of experience did you have with the wheels themselves, and the company?

Just bought some myself Pat. 17/18 black. No issue with purchase. Wheels arrive tomorrow. Look at all the dealers selling same wheels you like and notice that most are from the same area( Sarasota, Bradenton etc) They are all the same company and offer better prices at one or the other. reviews on these wheels look to be positive that I have seen. They are all Replica wheels. Good luck

More than likely they'll be heavier, aside from that my other concerns would be straightness and how well the finish holds up..

Most aftermarket wheels are not built to OEM engineering standards. They are typically heavier, not as strong and the finish will not hold up as well.
There are exceptions.
Let the old axiom "you get what you pay for" be your guide.
I opted for OEM (Speedline) Z-06 wheels for these reasons plus they fit the theme of my Grand Sport project, where OEM look was important.
Good luck with your choice!

Received my OE wheels today. They are not heavy, look to be well constructed and look great. Like the others said,we'll see how the finish holds up. Have had OZ and CCW's in the past but too expensive for this particular car. The finish on my original wheels is spotty at best so these wheels will suffice. Paid $110.00 for each so don't expect them to be as good as the OZ or CCW. Installing tomorrow and will update over the weekend if anyone is interested Pic is of another car like mine with the OE's

Thanks to all for the feedback. Pnewt, I would like to hear back regarding your installation and performance thoughts. I'd also like to know the weight of one of these 18 inch wheels. Thanks again for all the feedback.

Yes, they're heavier than stock but for the street I noticed no difference. I run my stock wheels at the track, where it matters.
