Like some of you have said, I guess I have answered my own question.I just like the look of the emblem. I won't be putting it on the car. Maybe I will buy a flame-proof suit instead!

Huh..... I would not. The question is why? And the answer.... Because you can. But most of us would still ask why? And we wouldn't understand.

It's your car, so if that's what turns you on, go for it. If I was going to change emblems, I'd use the C6 badge. In my opinion, the C7 badge looks like a Pontiac Firebird logo. Like the car, hate the badge.
If I ever buy a C7, I'll take off the badges and mail them to you.

well, some c5 owners replace their wheels, gearshift *****, and etc. with c6 parts.........however i prefer c5 parts on c5 corvettes. no doubt some will add c7 wheels to their c5's, but again, it's your car.........

I grew up putting those little decals from after market parts (Hooker, Edelbrock, etc.) on my side or back window after installing the part on my car. If you install a Stingray powertrain under your C5 body then thumbs up! Otherwise no.

Do as you wish with no regret.
I see C2 Corvettes and other generation resto-mods cross the auction block for over $100,000 all the time and they have updated non-period correct badges.
