Default Custom Corvette Nomad Thing Going for $125k

This custom retro Corvette Nomad thing, presumably designed by a blind guy with an Etch-e-sketch on a bumpy road, can be yours for the low, low price of $125,000.

It may not be for everyone, but it actually looks to be pretty well made - body seams look good and fit/finish appears to be fine.

I will agree that I would rather have a new C7 Z06 for that kind of money though.

There is a market for a few of "anything" it appears.

First rule of discussing custom work is to appreciate without hating. The money, time, and work of someone else is worth respect even if you don't happen to like it.

Jonathon Klein should try and think of something more useful to write or simply move along and shut up.

You're totally right:

(Although that Nomad-Vette looks awesome compared to these others)

Nothing new about this design, it has been around since the 50's. It was a Corvette Concept Car, and Chevrolet built about 5 of them IIRC. It was a cool thing then and still is today, I wouldn't want one, but that doesn't mean it wasn't cool.

I like it! Everything except those Lambo doors!

Hell, it's on a Corvette chassis and has an LSx motor.

Overall, I think it is a good build. Whether or not it fetches $125,00 is to be seen.

I am with you about those damn Lambo doors, will those things ever go away?

Car trends come and go, however your first example is exactly what I'm talking about. Japan does some very different things to their customs and it's a lot more interesting to look at the detail of what they've done then to make fun of 3 foot tail pipe tips.

Yes, it's extremely well executed, great workmanship and all that, but...

I saw one of those C5/C1 things in person, and didn't think it could get any worse. Apparently I was wrong.

Also more fun to make fun of someone carbon fiber putting parts on a C5 that are worth more than the car itself... but that's not me. ;-)

That's totally inappropriate. It's lewd, lascivious, salacious, outrageous!

And might I add butt ugly?
