I totally agree with not executing anyone who has committed a heinous crime unless they are 100% guilty without a shadow of a doubt but once proven guilty they shouldn't be allowed to live any longer no if's and's or but's

Not sure what a "Dirt gag" is but life is NOT a simple as many below the Mason-Dixon think.

You could be wrongly convicted EASILY, see below.

There are lots of dirt gags in Georgia. Murder rate is twice what it is here in Wisconsin.

When buying a vehicle, I went to look with only pocket money. I was very interested in buying a private sale Vette, but insisted that the entire money transaction occur at the office of a local bank, preferably one I was familiar with. CL or ebay are OK for small transactions, but when it comes to anything over $500, an intermediary like Paypal or a bank is a good idea. Also, a bank can verify if a cashier's check is valid or a fraud almost immediately.

I have bought and sold a lot of cars with private parties over the years and never had a problem. Even used personal checks at times. That was pre-internet.

A lot, most people "down there" think life is as simple as you guilty, let's kill you NOW. Glad we got rid of the death penalty here.

Im in Canada , the legal system here has a lot less bite then the U.S.A

For heinous crimes like the harm of an innocent or a child the death pentalty should really be implicated swiftly once guilt is proven.

No, MOST southerners do not. Just like MOST yankees aren't really a$$holes. Judging tens of millions based on the actions of a few shows bigotry.

This isn't about defending oneself, it's about the murder of an elderly couple by a dirtbag redneck loser.
Thumbs up for Georgia.

Why swiftly? Isn't it better to make the guy think about it and suffer for awhile?

You assume these predators think/care or have things to lose, like you. Jail/prison is like disneyland to more than you think.

Most prisons are not nice places.

Amen!! Every State should reinstate the death penalty. There should not be any life sentences period. Anything over 10 years should be the needle. If they did that crime would drop automatically. These jerks know they are just going for a vacation any more.
