Default clutch pedel

After a couple of high RPM shifts I find my clutch pedal free play is almost down to the floor. Then after about 30 seconds its back to normal . I've changed the fluid.. The clutch does not slip. It seems to be working fine except for the pedal. Has anybody run into this problem. I'm assuming it has the stock clutch in it. thanks Joe

I'd start out with a new (GM) clutch master cylinder & bleed & see if that takes care of the problem.

What he recommends may be a good option.

When you say you changed the fluid did you do it by bleeding? If not, you may want to do that. There are two ways. One is from under the car and you have to drop the exhaust under the torque tube and remove the heat shield. The other is to pull the manifold and do it from above. I have more info at home on both methods if you need it.

You could try this method using a vacuum line off the engine

You can also try the Ranger method of flushing, if you haven't yet. It's easier than doing the regular flush and bleed.

I bleed the system from under the car. Other than those high shifts, it works just fine.
maybe it just mite be a better idear to put a H P clutch and change the slave and master set up. If you got to take it apart you should fix it like new.
