No C5 came equipped with an in-cabin air filter.

The C5 forums are becoming more and more like the c7 z06 forums - a war zone.

Isn't the purpose of this site to talk about our cars and help others? Ignore anybody who is rude, no idea what the problem is...

Let's see. OP has been on the forum 10 years, you've been on the forum two months.
Wonder which one of you know more about Corvettes...

On my 3rd Vette, been driving and wrenching on them for 30 yrs. I'm pretty sure I know MUCH, MUCH more

AND, the owners manual has a lot of GREAT info in it, he should use it AND this question has been asked and answered many time, he could have searched for the answer too.

Default Yup.

I'll just report tandt to a mod and let them decide.

And what would it tell him? The owners manual makes no mention of an in-cabin air filter. The problem is, I've owned two other cars that did have in-cabin filters, and there was no mention of one in either car's owners manual.

If you knew the answer to OPs question, why didn't you just answer it instead of behaving like a dick?

When I bought my 99 it had been stored for over a year and smelled really stale from the vents. I sprayed some Lysol disinfectant in the intake screen in front of the driver side wiper with heater on and blower on high, it took several treatments, but the stale smell finally left. Just a tip that was passed to me 2 yrs ago.
