Default Service active handling?

Did a couple of doughnuts in the parking lot at work this morning and "service active handling" popped up.. It went off and didn't come back on , no codes, etc .. Is that normal?

Have a close look at the 6" cable 3pin) that plugs into EBCM and also to connector near ground pack. The latter of which is located near dvr side lower hood shock hinge pivot point. Make sure its clean and connected right. Take a 10mm socket wrench and remove ground pack lug and look at separate wire lunette ring for dirt / rust.

You will want this system to be servicable in case you ever need it on a spirited drive.

Everything looks right, clean, etc.. Took it for a spirited/reckless drive in a big empty parking lot to "test" the active handling, seems to work fine.. Called my GM master tech buddy, he said it was nothing to worry about , service message hasn't came back on

The "service active handling" will come on frequently if I back out of my driveway one direction, but not the other. Each direction, I have to back out at quite an angle because of the curb apron, it still scrapes the lower flexible spoiler thingee.

I turn off the car, pull the key, wait a few seconds and it's all better.

Set when the calculated YAW differs greatly from the measured YAW.

Probably due to "doughnuts" you were doing but only time will tell for certain..........

Next time you decide to do doughnuts you might consider turning AH "OFF" first.....

Leaving it ON means that the computer is attempting to correct for things you are intentionally trying to do.
Is the yaw sensor located underneath the carpet bump on the passenger side closest to console?

Did someone spill something in that area?
