Hypothetically, if you won the lottery, or came into a windfall of cash for whatever reason; would you sell your C5, and buy something different? Would you keep it, and buy something different? Would you mod the **** out of your C5
What would you do?
I think I would buy all the stuff I want for my C5, spare no expense, and buy another car...definitely another Corvette. I've had my sights on C6 GS

If it was big lottery money, why would you have to sell anything? I would get all the mods, a bigger garage and more cars.
I would hire some girls to work in the garage and buy a refrigerator full of beer.

great question, and to be honest I'm not sure
My Z is supercharged so its very fun to drive and Its very special to me in many respects, but once I had a rolls Royce, Lamborghini aventador , supercharged viper and a few aston martins , I don't know how id feel.
If I did decide I no longer needed/wanted it id probably give my Z away to someone on the forum who I felt would really enjoy it and appreciate it.

The C5 stays....period. No hypothetical lottery winner or not. "IF" I did win or come into an exorbitant amount of money by chance, I would have to take a few days pause to remind myself to stay grounded and continue living like I was on a budget. I'd do what I want to finish out what I had planned for the C5, that's for sure and take some extended time off to take it to reputable shops around the country for various upgrades. Nice problems to have....

I'd probably keep my C5, but chances are there would also be an Admiral Blue w/white stripe C7 GS keeping it company in the garage.

Furthermore, you'd still need the C-5, in order to drive to the lottery office, to pick up your ticket!!

I would give my C5 an engine upgrade to 7 litres and a 300 AMG Gull Wing stablemate.

I really do enjoy my black 6m C5 vert, very happy with it and not looking to replace it anytime soon. I tend to hang onto things for a long, long time, still have my '89 Jeep Grand Wagoneer (my 3rd one), just recently sold my very long time owned 911, and still have my '02 Harley. My '69 C10 hot rod truck is still here. If I had a sudden influx of lottery money I would probably go buy a brand new Superformance 2 seat Cobra (I can't help but dabble with that fantasy). For me, probably the most visceral feeling car I've every driven, loud, raw, open air, makes absolutely no sense and I just absolutely love them and at some point I've just gotta have one. Y'all have a good one!!

I would not sell mine, I would have a 75 x 40 garage built, then I would go to Mecum, I would not go for real high dollar cars, mostly 60's and 70's Muscle cars !!! Then a mail order Bride !!!! (how could I forget a Brand new ZO 6 Black)

I would probably buy a mint one to have in a collection, but not sure I'd actually use it much because I would have a ton of other toys

I would keep it.
I am not rich, but right now I could buy quite a few other cars, but chose to keep my Corvettes because I like them.
Fun to drive, fun to work on, good performance, good economy, made a lot of friends with Corvettes, etc. I can't think of a reason to change.

Depends on the size of the lottery or inheritance. With $1M I'd buy a newer SUV for my wife (currently '07 Tucson), the minivan ('10 Grand Caravan) is fine, my 04Z is great, all the rest would be spent on a larger house with at least a double garage (would try for more).
$2 would just get a bigger house, property and shop. Same vehicles.
$3 or more might sway me, but without a suitable income to maintain a crazy car I'd still be on the safe side. Probably an M if anything.
