Default Oregon DEQ testing, what can I do?

I am a new C5 owner in Portland Oregon. I am interested in some minor mods like a cold air intake and headers for my 2001 coupe. What can I do in Oregon and still pass the DEQ testing? Is it a under hood inspection, or just a emissions test? Who has dealt with Oregon DEQ testing?

Thanks...

Contact JR at teamzr1.com

I also live in Oregon and so does he.
JR custom tuned my Z06 and I have no problems passing smog tests even with the supercharger

He will work with you and tell you what you can install

You can also contact robert judd, rwj383 on the forum, at gen3motorsports.com

If you go to the deq station in hillsboro or sherwood they should only plug into your obd2 port and scan for codes. No codes then you pass. Check with Robert for specific answers though : )

Where in tigard are you?? I dont see too many c5s around here!

No problem. I'm off of walnut, just a stones throw away. What color is your car? I'm in a black Z06, I'll be sure to wave

I've got a Torch red coupe in Hillsboro! As for emissions, I think all they do is jack into obdII and chheck for codes. I did see a news article saying they may go back to sniff and dyno tests but they are not doing it as of now. I know my car would not pass a sniffer with the big *** cam Robert put in here!
